This is a historical Arts and Crafts home built in 1925 located a block from downtown. The location of the home is semi-commercial. A neighbor has teenagers and are sometimes known to play loud music and present as teenagers. Palatka is a rugged small town with areas of distress and ranks poorly in terms of economic opportunities. It has been identified as one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. The town is small and less developed which appeals to those seeking a quieter life.

The full size and twin size pull out beds allow you to bring guest along. Need to work? Do it with a view or forget it and take a kayak out on the lake for some R&R.

Enjoy stunning lake views while sipping your morning coffee on the back deck. Lots of paddling options exist here on spring-fed Sand Lake. Hosts offer a paddle boat, canoe, and paddle boards for your enjoyment. Practice yoga on your own private deck, fish from the dock, or star gaze around the campfire each night. Vintage hunt | fish camp 3 miles from Salt Springs Recreation Area. Relax on the deck, or critter watch off the dock. Conveniently situated in the Ocala National Forest, this rustic cabin is surrounded by graceful live oaks and is often visited by wildlife like deer, bear & sandhill cranes. Canoe from the cabin to Little Lake Kerr through a hidden channel, paddle the Silver River or snorkel the springs. Great fishing is around the bend, or off the dock.
