Picturesque Lagoon Cabin on Klein River Hermanus

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of bird and marine life at your doorstep. A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

Close to Grotto beach - main swimming beach- blue flag - Ocean view & indigenous birds, free canoe - explore lagoon. Although our unit is private there are 20 units in total. Hermanus CBD (approx 6km). MAIN FOCUS IS OUTDOOR SPACE. PS the lagoon sometimes undergoes an ecological change, mother nature busy with a natural fermentation process.

Concordia Dam Cottage

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

Explore our renosterbos conservancy with some antelope and zebra, play in the river, fish and explore til your little ones pass out from exhaustion of all the farm fun!

Het Regthuys Meerenbosch

Middlevlei Reserve is one of the best-kept secrets in the Overberg. Just 15 min. from Hermanus and a 1.5-hour drive from Cape Town lies Meerenbosch, one of three unique areas within the reserve. Set among Milkwood trees and close to the Bot River Lagoon and the sea, this is a relaxed place where you may spot wild horses along the shoreline and enjoy the sound of the ocean. Wake up to fresh sea air, take easy walks on the beach at sunrise or sunset, and enjoy the calm surroundings.

You could stroll through the orchards, canoe on the dam, enjoy the summer sun in your own pretty, private garden, or curl up, under eiderdowns in front of a crackling fire, in winter. Akkerbos River House offers the perfect escape to the countryside, enjoy sublime peace, quiet and privacy on the banks of the Klein River. Akkerbos has a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bedrooms all leading onto the veranda. Enjoy Akkerbos all year round, with direct river access to cool down and relax in the garden during the summer, and getting cozy in the cooler months with an indoor fireplace, underfloor heating and hot tub.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.
