Our solar powered cottage is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing getaway in Onrus. Mere minutes from Hermanus, the cottage is located within walking distance from the beach and various tidal pools in the area. Fitted with solar panels, battery and inverter, the cottage has back-up power and is ‘loadshedding proof’. The space is beautifully furnished & decorated, stylish enough to make it feel special, but informal enough to enjoy your time at the beach. We offer RELIABLE, FAST FIBER internet.

The Roundhouse 1 hour from Cape Town is nestled in between fynbos and below the mountain. With 180 degrees views of the mountain and the sea, it is a stage set for tranquility and to unwind and experience the beauty of the area. The beach and a quaint village close by, offers everything you need. There are amazing walks. The area has the most beautiful coastline in the Western cape and also boasts with the richest floral kingdom in the world. Perfect for remote working with ± 30 MBPS Wi-Fi.

Explore Hermanus on foot from this cosy hideaway between mountain and sea. This peaceful spot offers a private outdoor wood-fired hot tub — perfect for Cape winters. Located in a leafy, family-friendly neighbourhood with gated free parking and a public playground just across the road. A short walk (5 - 8 min) to the scenic cliff path for whale watching, Fick’s tidal pool & sundowner lounge, Fernkloof hiking trail access point & town centre with its quaint shops, restaurants and art galleries.

Beach Cottage Retreat | Coffee, Wi-Fi & Treats

Protea Beach Cottage is a 3 min walk to the beach, with no main roads to cross, so ideal for families with small children. Sandy beach with some rocks but can swim at high tide. Wi-Fi. DSTV Easy View (basic) DVD player with movies. 7 min walk to Harbour Island with Ocean Basket & Antonios, for great pizza. 13min walk across dunes into GB with shops & restaurants inc Spur right on the beach. For larger groups you can book Lente Cottage (3 doors down) & Protea Cottage together for 12 guests.

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. It can accommodate up to 4 persons Two bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a king size bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area offers couches, Smart TV and WIFI Braai facilities are available in the garden. We no longer allow brides or grooms to get ready at our cottages on the day of their wedding. No day visitors

Charming cottage in the Hemel & Aarde Wine Valley

De Werf is in the Hemel en Aarde Valley - literally "Heaven on Earth". It sleeps 6 - large en suite bedroom (king bed or 2 singles) upstairs + a smaller bedroom downstairs (1 outside bedroom en suite on request). Fully equipped kitchen - dishwasher + gas hob opens onto the dining/lounge. Guests relax on the long shady patio with stunning views across to the mountains. A small private swimming pool is perfect for late drinks as the sun sets over the mountains. A birdwatchers paradise.

Chameleon Cottage is a hidden gem situated in the garden of our historic home. The cottage is a super cozy "home from home" with all amenities. Situated in the heart of Hermanus, it is a short walk to all the wonderful things on offer; Restaurants, entertainment, whale watching (in season), coastal walks, shopping & sightseeing. Chameleon Cottage is solar powered to supply electricity and hot water 24 hours a day. Netflix enabled TV and fast Wi-Fi to power your mobile devices.

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Louise will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

Fully equipped 2 bedroom ‘Out-of-Africa’ bungalow. Self-catering. Sleeps 4 adults in 2-single beds, 1-queen/double. Loft area w/ skylight views of ocean and a full-size couch. Spacious lounge/dining/kitchen area connects to verandah. Separate bath/shower/toilet. Overlooks RE Nature Reserve with magnificent, unobstructed sunset views of False Bay. 150m to sea. Welcome to freestanding Kaleidoscope Cottage, nestled among the Hibiscus trees with a private varandah overlooking a 25 m pool. It is part of Wil Ahhh - a private property, 5minutes from Grotto Beach. It is designed to celebrate the outdoor lifestyle of Voëlklip, the beach suburb of Hermanus and its beautiful sea and mountain landscape.
