Spring Beach Getaway is a beautiful holiday house on the East Coast of Tasmania, just 1-hour drive from Hobart, across the road from Spring Beach with beautiful views to Maria Island. Perfect for couples and families, it sleeps up to eight guests. It’s a fully self-contained house giving you everything you need for that perfect beach getaway. Minutes’ drive from Orford, and less than two hours’ drive to Freycinet National Park, with plenty of beautiful scenery and wineries along the way.

Tawny - A little luxury by the bay.

Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You instantly feel “at home” at the blackshack. Please Note: Our very last booking weekend will be the 5th June 2026 to allow us to prepare for the sale of our Airbnb/home. St Michael and All Angels Church has been given a new lease of life as The Church at Orford boutique accommodation. Lovingly converted, this beautiful building retains unique architectural features whilst including quality furnishing and modern amenities. Ideal for a romantic weekend getaway, a summer holiday or to use as a gateway to the beautiful East Coast or to visit Maria Island National Park.

Spring Beach Cottage

Private cottage 100 metres from the white sand of Spring Beach, on a large block in a bush setting with beautiful views of the beach, Maria Island and the Triabunna lighthouse. Birds are in abundance and there is also a resident echidna. There is a surcharge of $30 for one night only bookings. ALL PROFITS ARE DONATED TO CHARITY (tariffs less out of pocket expenses, see receipts in visitors' book)
