This picturesque Hideaway offers close proximity to town, Dinner Plain & Mt Hotham as well as a mutitude of activities including Trout Fishing (seasonal), Fishing, Hiking, Road/Mountain Biking & all things snow.

This is compact calm in one remote place yet still walkable to Main Street. Guests really feel like Little Livingstone is a real escape with a super private location, looking at mountains, swimming in the creek or relaxing in the bath. A place to disconnect and breathe. We are TV free. Some games are provided.

Outside is a new Weber family Q BBQ and an open fire pit where you can enjoy a drink and toast marshmallows, while soaking in the beautiful views. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality appliances, including an ice maker in the family sized fridge/freezer. Soak in the deep, extra large bath and snuggle up to a movie on the big TV screen or relax with a book on the electric reclining couch in front of the fireplace.

Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

The Hut is located a short drive from Swifts Creek on the Great Alpine Road, alongside the beautiful Tambo River. It is an authentic property restored in 2020 on Woodlands farm. The cattle farm itself spans 1,800 acres across the Tambo Valley. Our unique and remote location means that it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. We are located an hour from Dinner Plain & Mount Hotham as well as a stone’s throw from the Tambo River, Mitta Mitta and Cobungra Rivers.
