The McClure Guesthouse and Events

The McClure Guesthouse is an 1872 Italianate Victorian home located in the heart of downtown Olney, Illinois. It is any easy walk to all the downtown shops, restaurants and other local amenities. Whether it is good conversation in the sunroom, or your first morning coffee on the front porch, you will find The McClure Guesthouse offers the perfect atmosphere, just like your own home, to relax and visit with family & friends. Accommodates overnight guests of up to 10 people and larger events.

Bird-view Bungalow Apartment

Escape to this cozy 1-bedroom retreat perfect for nature lovers and families! Sleep soundly on a queen bed, twin-over-full bunk, or futon. Enjoy the full kitchen, relax in the tub, and take in views of birds, deer, rabbits, and Olney's famous white squirrels from the bay window. Have dogs? The back yard offers plenty of space to roam. This unit shares an entry with the Emerald Bungalow Apartment, which can also be reserved. Note: Close to a highway, so light sleepers may prefer white noise.

The Hunters Hideout

Come relax at our little cabin. Our place offers 2 full size and two twin beds. Perfect for guest wanting to come and stay and hunt or fish the public grounds. It’s a one room cabin with a full new shower house just a few steps away outside. There is no running water within the cabin but the shower house is right outside your door. Each cabin has their own private bathroom in the shower house. There are 2 other cabins located on the property. Perfect for those hunting or fishing trips.

Fox Creek Cabin

Forested Retreat

This is a nice spacious cabin in the woods right on the water. It has a covered front porch across the entire length of the cabin. There is one bedroom, a sleeping loft, living room, kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The interior is all finished in beautiful native hardwood lumber. It is surrounded by large oak trees and has a pond right in front. It is set back approximately 300 ft from a public road which provides excellent privacy.

Blue Bungalow

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this newly remodeled centrally-located place. Conveniently located near the center of downtown Olney, the Blue Bungalow offers enough room for 6 people! The house is within walking distance of local food favorites Hovey's Diner and Chilly Willy's Ice Cream! Most conveniences in town are mere minutes away as are neighboring towns: Flora, Newton, Lawrenceville, Clay City, Albion and more!

A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. As hosts we want our guest to enjoy their stay so we are available to help with anything.

Borah Lakefront Bunkhouse

Welcome to Borah Bunkouse! This spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath house is located right on the shores of Borah Lake. Enjoy lake life by swimming, fishing, watching white squirrels, and seeing the sunset over the water. There is plenty of space outdoors to enjoy, along with plenty of room for boat parking.
