Large sliding doors open the back and entire front, creating indoor/outdoor flow onto extensive decking which steps down onto landscaped native gardens, seating and bush tracks. The views of the coast, offshore islands are breathtaking.

The kitchen includes a microwave, electric hob, electric frying pan, slow cooker, sandwich maker and more. The Observatory, Semi Self-Contained Unit

We welcome you to our home, which has views of the ocean and farmland. The guest area is located on the ground floor. Only a 10 minute stroll into the township of Whakatane, and five minute drive to Ohope Beach, voted one of the safest surf beaches in NZ. The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.

Only a short 7 minute drive to Ohope's international golf course and Port Ohope is popular for launching boats and jet skis. Just enjoy a walk, with lots of walking and bike tracks in the area.
