Private, spacious self-contained guest suite with own entry, on a quiet street in Oamaru. You will have your own kitchen and bathroom as well as a washing machine, dishwasher, queen-size bed and free wifi.. Everything you need for a comfy stay to enjoy our picturesque town. On sunny days you can sit out on the deck chairs with your preferred drink or down on the bench in the small garden. If you are here in the summer you will be able to pick some strawberries - we planted them for our guests!

‘Kowhai Cottage’ is set in the mature grounds of the 1867 grade II listed Old Manse, (Lawson, R.A .architect). Ideal for a weekend break, overnight or holiday to visit the Waitaki district with all of it’s unique attractions Victorian Oamaru; Moeraki boulders 10mins south; Dunedin City an hour’s drive; turquoise lakes 90 minutes west with Duntroon, Alps2Ocean tracks and Elephant Rocks enroute. Hosts Susie & Bob live onsite ensuring your stay cosy & memorable. Not suitable for infants/ kids.

Spacious, comfortable and modern 1 bedroom unit with ensuite. A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. Please let me know if your travelling with your furry friend and/or you require the 2nd bedroom.

Lakeside is a beautiful idyllic property close to the centre of town. The exceptional, accommodation comfortably hosts 7 with 3 queen and 1 single bed. Fully equipped in a modern style, rated a 9.6 on Booking .com. Totally private, set in park like surroundings that make the perfect setting for a wedding! Plenty of room for a marquee or Teepee. Guests can wander the gardens, walk down to the lake and sit on the boardwalk to take in the scenery, wildlife and glorious sunsets.

Our cottage is a 5 min walk from the heart of Oamaru & all that its main street has to offer: Restaurants, cafes, shopping & more. With 4 bdrms, modern decor, comfy beds & warm, sunny, open living, our cottage is family friendly with a flat backyard, great for kids to stretch their legs after a long day in the car. Heated by a large heat-pump in the living area & additional bedroom heaters. We have free parking right outside the front door and free high speed unlimited wifi.

Boutique Oamaru! Our lovely 1920's Oamaru Stone home is character filled with solid stone interior & exterior walls. You will stay in a carefully curated home that has beautiful antique furniture, art and curiosities that perfectly match the eclectic town of Oamaru. Three spacious bedrooms with three beds. Within easy walking distance to Steampunk Oamaru & the Victorian Precinct. Please read details before booking as due to its age the house does have some quirks.

Cape Wanbrow Cottage

This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

Shepherd’s Rest - outdoor bath, alpaca & sheep

The Shepherd's Rest is a Shepherds Hut and glamping experience. The hut is situated on a 300 acre bull beef farm and approx a 10 minute drive to central Oamaru. Unwind in the outdoor bathtub (gas heated). The 3 alpaca & pet sheep are your friendly neighbours. 4pm Farm Tour for additional fee. The country location is the perfect place to relax, star gaze, enjoy the scenery, birdsong & farm sounds. It’s a great base to explore Oamaru & the Waitaki area.

Kakanui Surf Bach

Enjoy stunning coastal views from every room at this cosy cottage located at Campbells Bay, Kakanui. Curl up by the fire in the cooler months and watch the weather roll in while listening to the sounds of the ocean, cook up a storm on the large wood-fired BBQ, and take in the stunning views at the 'Sunset Bar' on the adjoining deck. This seaside surfing and fishing spot has been a favourite in the family for generations, and now you can enjoy it too!

Hampden Beach Retreat

Private with lots of room to move, our place has a relaxing beach house feel. Surrounded by large lawns and native trees, it has ultimate privacy. We have a large veranda to enjoy the sunshine and a BBQ. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Hampden Beach, shops, cafes and local tavern. Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.
