Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Bambu Cabaña

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Bambu Cabana is surrounded by bamboo and features a unobstructed view of Vulcan Baru. Wake up to see the sun reflecting off of the mountain, visible clearly through large floor to ceiling wrap around windows. Do some work at the desk or relax in the recliners or outdoor balcony chairs. Enjoy a refreshing shower or long soak in the large bathtub. The cabana includes a well stocked kitchenette, and washer dryer combo.

Butterfly exhibit and breakfast included, 2 hectares of fabulous gardens full of colorful birds and a collection if stingless honey bees. Close to town. Forms part of a honey farm offering more than 24 types of honey, a great store and bee and honey tasting tours also part of a traditional Boquete Coffee Estate. We can accommodate 4 px but booking price including breakfast is for 2px. We charge an additional $15 per person.
