Our light and airy cottage was completed in 2014 & provides a spotless rural space perfect for a couple, small families or friends to come together for a memorable stay. 5 star amenities provided, you'd think you were in a hotel in the countryside! Come and say hello to our chickens, sample their delicious eggs over a lazy breakfast. Head out for a walk in the bucolic Vale of Belvoir, maybe take in a country pub, then home to cosy up in front of the log burner with some of our home-made cake 🍰

Whether you want to curl up by the log fire, visit stately Belvoir Castle, walk the canal paths or visit the decadent Chocolate Cafe, you will come back to a stylish, comfortable newly converted little barn. Small romantic hideaway in gated private location , close to Nottingham city centre but secluded hideaway if you so wish. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants the resident deer and pheasants may even put in an appearance perfect for nature lovers to kick back , relax - hot tub , Netflix, Sonos speakers, Philips Hue lighting and a log burner all make for a relaxing escape.

Blidworth Dale House, a classic Nottinghamshire country house, lies between Nottingham and Mansfield near the ancient village of Blidworth in heart of Sherwood Forest. The house is surrounded by mature parkland and is situated in the middle of a working farm. The airbnb listing is for the wing which is the original 1700’s farmhouse on the left hand side of the picture with a red tiled facade. The Dale is conveniently situated to getting in to Nottingham, Mansfield or Southwell.

The Barn

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)
