The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. Chollerton House is located in the hamlet of Chollerton and is set in its own grounds overlooking the river North Tyne which is just a hundred yards away across our own paddock. The flat is located on the first floor, affording lovely views on all sides, and has its own seperate access, assuring complete privacy. Chollerton lies only one mile north of the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and the flat provides a charming and secluded base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
