There are great hikes, skiing (Big White and Silverstar), mountain biking, golf and vineyards all around and there are buses to Vernon or Kelowna a short walk away

We're situated in the North BX which is a quiet, country setting with equal distances to Kalamalka Lake/Okanagan Rail Trail and Silver Star Mountain/Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre. We're outdoorsy folk and will often be found outside skiing/hiking/cycling or in our garden puttering around with our sweet flock of chickens, pet turkeys, and poodle, Freya. Located in Silver Star Resort on top of beautiful Silver Star Mountain in Vernon, BC Canada..... from the Condo balcony, you look right up the Silver Queen ski hill...... you can also see tube town and the entrance to the cross country trail..... put you skis on just outside the locker room door and and ski directly to the the chair lift and from there you can get to any ski run on the mountain.... when you are done you ski right back to the locker room door.
