Hillside Retreat

Welcome to our little hillside hollow, tucked away on the east side of Meriden. I am a gardener and enjoy cultivating a wildlife habitat on our property. The retreat has been carefully designed for tranquility. It features a galley kitchen with a reading nook, a tiled bathroom, and a sweet bedroom with a small private deck overlooking the back yard, trees, and walking path. While the retreat feels rural, it is convenient to downtown, and to the noted hiking trails in the center of the state.

Hartwoods Yurt

Enjoy a unique wilderness getaway and unwind in a peaceful, 10.3 acre wooded environment in our 30’ diameter Yurt, which sleeps 4 in North Guilford, CT. This elevated cylindrical dwelling offers solitude and a large deck with comfortable chairs and forest views. Shaded and cool in the summer with air conditioning and fans available. This Yurt provides a wonderful respite from the hectic world. Perfect for nature lovers with a nearby brook and miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking.

The Gait House at High Gait Farm

WELCOME to "The Gait House" at High Gait Farm. Conveniently located only fifteen minutes from the Yale Campus in New Haven and next door to the Connecticut SportsPlex or take the train into NYC. "The Gait House" can comfortably sleep 6 people. It’s a fully renovated 1840's Farm House. It was once a horse training/boarding farm, however no longer has animals. Feel free to wander the 4.7 acres and peek in the hundred year old barn and get a glimpse of a time gone past. ENJOY YOUR STAY!

A beautiful mid-century retreat tucked in the hills of Connecticut. Designed and built by a Yale architect who studied under Louis Kahn, and Frank Llyod Wright. With beams that stretch the width of the house and gorgeous pine ceilings. This house is a true gem.
