Only 2 blocks from Hanson's (Safeway) and the Old St Joe's meeting hall. If you're a construction company then 4 crew members can spread out in 4 separate rooms. If you're a family then 8 people can fit (2 in the master bedroom, 1 in the guest bedroom, 1 in the office on a roll away bed, 2 in the poker room on a shared full size mattress, and 2 on individual twim mattresses in the living room. During Iditarod the house has hosted basketball teams with 12 people.

Anvil Mountain and Dredge #5 are the backdrop, and musk ox herds often rest in the tundra behind the house. The room is private with a shared bathroom.
