Perfect for an authentic 'off the beaten track' farm experience to reconnect with your family. A scenic 60 min drive toTe Anau, 30 mins from Mossburn and the Hump Ridge track. A short 45 min drive to Invercargill. Our homestead provides a full kitchen & bbq with an outdoor firepit to roast (provided) marshmallows. Say 'Kia Ora' to our friendly sheep, which love to be hand fed.

Shouse ~ combination of a shed & house, off the grid style. Located on a peaceful lifestyle block, make the most of a quiet location with the feeling of being off the grid with no wifi or tv. Situated 3km from town on our rural lifestyle block, making the most of the views of Lake Te Anau. The shouse has all the necessities needed, a living area, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping area is upstairs in an open mezzanine style room (please note a lower ceiling) and slightly steeper and narrow stairs.

Whare manu, boutique cottage.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

Bike track and reserve between the cottage and lake. Just a 15 minute walk along the lakefront to shops and cafes.

View Street, Manapouri; turn south west on your travels through middle-earth! 300m from the Doubtful Sound jetty, our one-bedroom cottage overlooks Fiordland and the Waiau river and is complete with all the comforts, including a wood-burning fireplace for cosy New Zealand winter evenings. Perfect for couples- our cottage is not suitable for children.

Beautiful lake view of Manapouri from this comfortable and funky little house. Everything you need for a luxurious stay plus extras including push bikes, and an outdoor hot tub to sit in under the stars. Our two bedroom cottages are fully self contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Each cottage has two bedrooms, sleeping a total of 4 guests. Our guests recommend a two night stay minimum in this area. Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are renowned tourist destinations. Also walks in Fiordland National Park and a local bike trail. No cleaning fee.
