We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Separate private entry, on-site parking, only 10 minutes walk to North Hobart restaurants and the popular State cinema. 5 minutes by car to the city or hop on the bus, which goes into the city every 10 minutes during peak periods.

It is a double bedroom apartment with a glimpse of Mt Wellington, featuring Tasmanian sandstone and comfortably suitable for two. Take note that our policy will only accept original guest that has booked and confirmed, therefore, no extra guests will be accepted in our accommodation.

Connie the Caravan: a private getaway

Connie is a vintage caravan positioned perfectly among the poplar trees to give guests a little hideaway to relax and enjoy themselves. Connie can sleep up to two adults with a proper innerspring mattress. A bathroom with shower and toilets is very close by, as is a kitchen guests can use if required. The kitchen has a fridge, hot plates, microwave and dishwasher.

Clock Cottage

For many decades our 1832 cottage was The Tasmanian Watch and Clock Company. Still affectionately referred to as The Clock Shop or Clock Cottage, it is now a cosy home, combining the new with the old.A perfect base for exploring Hobart’s museums, waterfront, sights, M.O.N.A and surrounds.
