The Barton house gets its name from its close proximity to the Barton 1792 distillery & view of Barton rickhouses from the front door. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood & is a 5 min. drive to the dinner train and quaint streets of downtown Bardstown. It is a short 10 min. drive to many of the distilleries and wineries. We are located in the heart of the bourbon capital of the world. If your looking for a peaceful quiet country night we are the place for you. We offer a queen size bed and small pull out sofa. There are several local attractions we are 6 miles from Makers Mark, 11 miles to Log Still, 3 miles from the XB Arena (Saturday nights Nov-March), and 13 miles to Historic Bardstown to include Heaven Hill. This cabin located in the country on our 100 acre farm, but you are 3 miles from restaurants, groceries, pharmacies and shops. The location is also central to the distilleries: 15mi to Maker's Mark, 35mi to Jim Beam, 50mi to Woodford Reserve, Lexington, and Louisville
