Devnadi is a Heritage Haveli right on the Ghats (Banks) of Ganges river. It used to be H.H. Queen of Nepal's Summerhouse in Haridwar, and was called the Nepali Kothi. Heritage Hotel, Overlooking Kashmere Gate Monument (Ruins of Mughal Period City Gate) and Citi Wall this portion of the outer enclosure wall of Shahjahanabad was completely rebuilt by the British. It's about 6.1m highwith battlements and arched recesses on the outer facade. There is a walkway behind the battlements. Historic building that once hosted Rabindranath Tagore (Guru ji), Subhash Chandra Bose (Netaji), Tarashankar Bandopadhyay, Geeta Dutt, Kazi Sabyasachi is now fully refurbished.
