If you need a bit of retail therapy, Grand Island is only 20 minutes away. There you will find most everything including the Crane Trust, a crane sanctuary.

The Pepper Shed

Welcome to The Pepper Shed! This is a unique utility, used as a dog house for our family dog Pepper. It has a built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

This is a great quiet lake community. Our property has a lake on one side of it and a river on the other. This cabin is so spacious, woody, and comfortable. The beds are all memory foam and very nice. In the area, people kayak or canoe the river and lake, airboat on the North Loup River that flows by. We have an airboat ramp for use. The area has many fun things to do. A Distillery, a winery, a few restaurants, horse racing nearby in Grand Island. There is much more!

Bluestem Corner Staytion

This unique place has a style all its own. Being the home of a former corner gas/service station, we remodeled the inside to make it quaint, comfortable, and entertaining for a passer through or visitor of the small town of Palmer. Enjoy your stay and experience everything the surrounding areas of Merrick, Howard, and Hall counties have to offer! Local Wineries, the State Fair, Crane Watching and so much more are within 30 minutes of our unique destination.

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

My wife and I and the 6 kids self manage the property and look forward to your visit!

Get away out in the country for some rural rest and relaxation at our remodeled, historic, old District 28 schoolhouse. Cows, corn, and comfort. A touch of a hunters cabin but modern enough to be cozy for some good relaxation. Cozy Business Travelers Haven

This is a cozy resting spot for business travelers, or weekend guests visiting family. It underwent a complete renovation and ready for it's first guests who arrived in February, 2019. Enjoy the quiet outdoors out on our deck or just relax inside. This is a quiet neighborhood and 11-7am is quiet time. Please take your noise inside as this is strictly a non-party property.
