Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

It offers absolute privacy, no noise or light pollution plus the finest stargazing under our dark Cederberg night sky. The Solace Cabins offer luxury in a beautiful citrus and tea farm. These self-catering cabins feature an indoor fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and a cozy outdoor deck with a gas BBQ.
