Unwind & enjoy stunning sunsets from the shared beach, kayaks, dock, or fire pit. Fish cleaning station, plus free kayaks to explore the tranquil waters. Nearby attractions incl. Pictured Rocks, Mackinac Island, waterfalls, & lighthouses. Enjoy fishing, hiking, golf, and 4-wheeler trails. Whether relaxing or adventuring, it's perfect for unforgettable memories.

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

We sit right across from the trail head leading all over the UP, and are down the road from the pristine Kitch-iti-kipi.

If you love tranquil cozy cabins in the woods, you will love Sylvatica Ecolodge! Sylvatica is a latin word meaning "of the forest" and this lodge is exactly that. It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.

The Artist's Cottage is sacred to me, and I am so happy that I get to share it with you. This cottage is a space I go to be free of the daily hustle and bustle. Minimal cell service makes for a relaxing and quiet time to replenish the nervous system and get in tune with the land here. Don't worry, we have wifi. 😅
