Ceiling fans throughout and all the bedrooms have additional brand new air conditioning units. The kitchen has new appliances and is well equipped for all your needs. A 1000 gallon tank ensures you have water all the time even when the public supply gets cut off by the town.

This solar-powered slice of paradise is a two-minute walk from the renowned Asuchillo beach and a one-minute walk from the community pool, lounge and new Mexican restaurant at the pool lounge. Stunning views of the volcano range including 4active volcanoes and all the peace of the country make this a quiet getaway. It's located halfway between Leon and Managua,so our guests often come here to enjoy the relaxation after their volcano adventures in Leon before continuing their Nicaraguan itinerary. Many guests extend their stay and hunker down with a good book in the hammock. Our excellent WIFI is great for the remote worker. We have a larger casita that can also be booked.

Casa Abierta is safe & secluded - just 20 min. from Managua but feels far from the heat and noise. Deck has gorgeous views & house is open plan w/ loft, kitchen, living/bedroom. Lots of screens for airflow, so it's very cool. Accessible to Managua in charming rural village next to forest walks on trails with views & wood-fired hot tub. *Note: Our place is extra peaceful because we *do not* have WiFi!
