We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you!

Japan Alpine Guesthouse, hotspring, & music space.

Cozy alpine guesthouse cabins with in-house natural hotspring baths in the forested highlands of Japan's epic 3000m Nagano Alps, offering the closest possible accommodation to the "Roof of Japan" - the Alpine Route and Takase hiking treks. Hakuba ski resorts start 15 minutes away. We also have a compact music studio in the main lodge with guitars, bass, keyboard and electronic drum kit - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats.

Kizuna Lodge is conveniently located located in Lower Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort in the nice setting of Wadano Forest. Enjoy a spacious forest setting but only moments to the lifts at Happo, Happo Village, Nagano Olympics sign, Hakuba Fishing down and the Matsu river. Kizuna Lodge is a pet friendly property with great hosts and breakfast so come and make yourself at home in our comfortable nature lodge any time of the year. Enjoy a BBQ in the all weather BBQ centre.

The best things about Alpha Lodge are its wonderful & welcoming atmosphere and easy going country hospitality. The close proximity to the lifts & the Madarao Kogan Hotel and its amazingly relaxing Onsen (hot spring bath), is just an easy 200m walk and the views are amazing. Alpha Lodge was built around 40 years ago so you would expect that it is a bit tired in appearance but we are transforming bit by bit. Also, there are many unique ski resorts that are rich in density so you’ll be able to have a lot choice for your winter activities depends on your mood and the snow conditions of the day.

The Studio Apartment at Nozawa Onsen Lodge is perfect for families or small groups. It features a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa and dining table, ideal for relaxing together. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and seasonings, allowing you to enjoy cooking during your stay. With a separate private entrance from other rooms, it offers a quiet and independent space.
