Grocery store is around the corner. 3 km to Lake Bled (reachable by car, walking ca 40 min. > back is uphill), walking distance to Vintgar gorge (ca 15 min), Pokljuka gorge and crystal clear Radovna river. We will be happy to advise you about excursions (sightseeing, hiking, biking, ...).

Apartment Micnek Peacefull oasis close to the lake

The Micnek is around 150 years old farmhouse. It was desolate for few years, but when we have found it, we had vision and bought it. It was completely restored with love to old details. Lots of work was done by ourself. The house has modern appliances, but it keeps its alpine farmhouse style and charm. In our region in the villages every house has a name. It is not the same as family name. Mostly it is forgotten where name comes from. And the house name was Micnek. And we kept it.

Our house is located near the center in Jesenice, only 10 minutes walk from the train station. All the beauties of our valley are very close, only 20 minutes to Kranjska gora by car, 15 min to Bled, 10 min to the Vintgar gorge, and very close to the biking trail all the way to Planica(ski jumping). We are close to highway that leads through Karavanke tunnel. Heartly welcome couples, solo adventures, business travelers, families People from all backgrounds are wellcome in our home!
