Welcome to our, cosy and quiet homestead apartment at the heart of Arctic nature, only 1 hour drive from Tromsø. On top of offering an amazing view of the fjord right from the sofa, our apartment is made for those who want to be away from light pollution of the big city and enjoy the northern lights, as well as experiencing local culture and food. We offer free northern lights notifications, discounted aurora tours from the door & private, local-food catering options. Many possibilities nearby.

Rustic ocean lodge with sea-side sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Leiligheten har to soverom, 4 enkeltsenger (90 cm), stor stue og et godt utstyrt kjøkken med koselig spiseplass. Stort bad med dusjkabinett og kombinert vaskemaskin/tørketrommel. Gratis parkering ved inngangen. Stedet ligger midt i den lille trivelige bygda Botnhamn, som er starten på nasjonal turistvei til Gryllefjord.

Komfortabel selvoppblåsbar høy luftmadrass (90x200x40cm) for en femte gjest, kan settes på soverom eller stue. Gratis parkering for en bil. The apartment building is modern and placed right by the harbor.
