For 1 to 9 people, at a per person rate, Alkantmooi offers peaceful family self-catering, self-service accommodation against the Mariepskop mountain Kampersrus, near the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport. Close to Blyde River Canyon Dam, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre, and Kampersrus shops. 55km to Orpen Gate Kruger National Park, 39km from Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport.

Terebinte Guest Farm Tented Treehouse

Nestled beneath the towering beauty of God's Window and surrounded by lush plantations, our cozy, rustic farm offers a farm experience. As a working farm, Terebinte - "the tree where friends and family gather" - welcomes you to enjoy the charm of country life. Please note, our property is located deep within the forest, requiring a 3km drive on a dirt road. While the road is generally well-maintained, heavy rain may occasionally make it a bit slippery or uneven. We navigate it in small cars too.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Please note NO Parties are tolerated here. Two Private Rooms with ensuite in a 2 Bedroom House set in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. The rooms have a outdoor and indoor shower and bath. Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Stone House - Joy River Backpackers

The Stone House is self-catering and contains, in the main bedroom, one double and one 3/4 bed with an en-suite bathroom, flush toilet, bath and shower. The lounge, with a fireplace, contains a single bed and couch. Bedding is provided and mosquito nets. Joy River Backpackers is situated at the very beginning of the Blyde River Canyon. A genuine African village experience, rustic & laid-back atmosphere prevails and the buildings blend serenely into that of the village. The water is potable.

Black Eagle Lake House offers a truly relaxing escape in the bush. It is the perfect choice for nature-loving families or groups visiting this beautiful part of Mpumalanga. Located between Hazyview and White River, only three and a half hours drive from Johannesburg. Near by attractions include the world famous Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon and so much more. Black Eagle Lake House is a 4 bedroom 4 bathrooms double-story home with wrap around decks and so much more to offer.

Sabie is situated the doorstep of the famous Panorama Route.. Visit the Graskop zipline and Gorge swing, God's Window is breathtaking and worth a visit, Bourkes Luck Potholes a must see. Numerous waterfalls on the way to the Blyde River Canyon with spectacular viewpoints. The Kruger Park is a mere 58 km away on safe roads entering at the Phabeni Gate Close enough for a day drive to spot the Big Five. Sabie has all the essential shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made.
