Offering one double bedroom, a cosy and modern lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and everything you need for a holiday. It is a real home from home that also has good WIFI access, off street parking, wonderful private views overlooking open fields and is also dog friendly. This hidden gem provides a couples retreat with use of private hot-tub. Offering peace and tranquillity in a spacious modern setting. The Barn and adjoining house are over 300 years old the property being a former Gincase We are located in a small hamlet yet close to the local ammenities found in Cockermouth, Carlisle and the Harbour Town of Maryport, ideal for exploring the Solway Firth with views over to Scotland with its beautiful sandy beaches or perfect for visiting the Lakes and Fells.

Luxury Glamping Pods (No pets)

Based on the edge of the beautiful Lake District with commanding panoramic views of the Western Fells , here at Wellington Farm Glamping Breaks our 6 pods are fully fitted with electrics, heating, lighting, an ensuite and kitchenette. Our pods sleep 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). We provide all bedding and towels for your stay. We've even gone the extra mile by installing 7ft hydrotherapy hot tubs at each of our pods which allows our guests to fully appreciate the panoramic views of the fells.

Lake District Holiday Lodge with views of Skiddaw

Forest View Lodge is situated on a quiet site, which is located right on the Lake District National Park border, making it an excellent base for exploring the Lakes . The site has no amenities, however there is a garden centre tea room next door and a pub in the next village. Cockermouth is 10 minutes, Keswick 25 mins. The lodge sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and the decking is perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day exploring.

Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

Cockermouth 4miles (shops/pubs/restaurants/cafes) Keswick 13miles Bassenthwaite Lake 5miles Garden, space for bikes/kayaks, bbq, dartboard (bring your own darts!) Dog friendly (not in the bedrooms please).

Traditional shepherd's hut with views to Skiddaw

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

TAN HOWE DYKE is situated between Keswick and Cockermouth, close to Bassenthwaite Lake. A refurbished cottage dating back to Victorian times within a small group of rural properties, opposite picturesque St. Barnabas Church Setmurthy; enjoying beautiful Lakeland views towards the Skiddaw Massif & Binsey. The property is just a short walk from the Lakes Distillery. Fishing, available at nearby Bassenthwaite Lake. TAN HOWE DYKE features landscaped garden and patio.

Laal Cwtch: Dog friendly house; the Lake District

A fab dog-friendly upside down house with amazing views of the lake district fells. A great open plan house for chilling or catching up with friends and family. 3 comfortable bedrooms, two additional sleeping areas (a day bed and a sofa bed). Great for walking and outdoor adventures, and 20 minutes drive from the sea. Easy linked to the beautiful gem town of Cockermouth, cultural Keswick, and bustling Carlisle as we are just off the main A road.

Skiddaw Mire House

Skiddaw is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes Glamping to a new level. Head outside to the private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or a soak in the hot tub reading a good book.
