The A-Frame is a vintage 1955 Sears and Roebuck kit house, recently remodeled for your Airbnb pleasure! This A-Frame is set way back in the woods, yet is only minutes from the interstate, movies, malls, eateries, and all Montgomery has to offer. Kind of a "best of both worlds" situation. 20 minutes from Maxwell and Gunter AFB, 50 minutes from Auburn, and 2 minutes from I-85. The A-frame is pet friendly, all we ask is that if your fur babies shed, please clean up after them before you leave.

Outside the kitchen is a large deck, a sitting area to relax and unwind with a glider and 2 chair gliders. When you walk off that deck there is a firepit with 4 adirondack chairs for a night time retreat, birds chirping, owls hooting, squirrels running freely. It has its own commmunity swimming area very close to the house.

And after a long day of exciting activities, you can wind down on the Shak's beautiful deck and cook out on the grill!

If off season and a football fan, Auburn is just a short 20 mile drive away. Lake Martin is also known for great fishing and many hiking areas you can enjoy.

Hike the woods or around the lake or just sit on the porch. Fishing is catch and release only. No fish cleaning on site.

This little cabin was a labor of love for our family. It’s a mix of new remodel and old cabin authenticity. It’s a coat of many colors and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My brother and I decided to take on a project together and with the help of our beloved spouses we took this little diamond in the rough to its current prime. We have plans to continue the vision and make more space, but for now, we’re ready to share our accomplishment with you.
