Outdoor activity includes hammocks, swimming, boating (canoe, kayaks, john boat). For fishing we have boats, nets & fish-dressing station (bring poles & bait). About 13 miles from Palmyra and Monroe, nearest gas and groceries.

We are five minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs golf course and 3EX municipal airport. Relax, rejuvenate and play.

Enjoy $450 in free enhancements—propane, cooler & ice, homemade wine or kombucha, early check-in/out, pet & cleaning, and more. NOTE: King's Quarters has been winterized for the season. The hot tub is still hot, but water has been unhooked. Heaters, extra blankets, and a water thermos will be added for you.

All new furniture and appliances are sure to have you comfortable as can be. Turn on the gas fireplace if you need to take the chill off, or just for some ambiance as you nestle into the couch for a movie. The two bedrooms are appointed with new beds and linens. The couch opens to a comfortable bed for more personal space if needed.

Honeybee Cottage is located next to our own beach/lake & 140 acres of beautifully groomed public nature trails. It is creatively decorated & full of amenities, including a coffee/tea bar. Make use of the games/books/DVDs that are provided. Feed the cows, read a book on the beach, take a hike or mountain bike in the trails, nap on the porch, fish for bluegills in our lake, race the pig, skip rocks/canoe in the creek, have a bonfire (S'mores provided) & stargaze the evening sky!
