Haamro Ghar means ‘Our Home’ in our language. We’re a family-run homestay in the heart of Mirik. We’ve always had friends and families who surprise us with visits; hosting guests is thus a part of our family's hospitality. When they aren’t visiting us, we make the rooms available for you! We have been living in Mirik since 1997 & our home not only represents us & our stories, but it is also our way of sharing stories & having a good laugh with people from different backgrounds from far & wide.

Niharika, The Old Place

NOTE: UNLIKE SIKKIM, KALIMPONG IS ACCESSIBLE FROM SILIGURI AND DARJEELING BY 3 ROUTES. MESSAGE US FOR DETAILS. She's a grand old lady, restored with care: her stairs creak, her doors don't quite close, her floors have the patina of a hundred years. Outside, the wind rises and the tall trees sway like drunks going home. To the north, the Himalayas beckon as the fireplace warms cold fingers after a walk to the monastery up the hill. Come and see the Old Place while staying in its new space.

Suite by Relli River, Kalimpong inc. bfast/dinner

EDEN by REVOLVER is a riverside homestay on a two-acre+ plot alongside the river Relli ~ a kilometre away from Relli Bazar and a 30-minute-drive from Kalimpong town. The tariff quoted is per head and includes dinner and breakfast. Lunch and snacks, if required, can be ordered and will be charged extra. For infants and children below 5, board will not be charged. Early check-in possible. As of now, we do not have any accommodation for drivers that come along. However, we are working on it.

tThembre Cottage A Self Serviced Residence

tThembre Cottage is unique, in its architecture and offer of ecotherapy. It has been well recognised by Conde Nast Traveller & Lonely Planet. Situated amidst lush green surroundings and views of the hills, it is a few steps away from ShantiKunj, an exemplary flora nursery. The bus/taxi stand in the town centre is 2km away. Walks in all directions leads the flaneur through Kalimpong’s suburbs to the scenic Pujedara or to the Roerich centre at the iconic British-era Crookety up on the hill.

Panorama. A Heritage Bungalow

‘Panorama’ where the last King of Burma’s second daughter spent an idyllic life in exile from 1947 onwards. She lived here with her husband till April 4, 1956. It is a beautiful property with a 180 degree view of the Himalayan range during the months when there is no haze. One can also see the western part of Kalimpong town. It's an almost 100 years old bungalow built during the British Raj. It is well maintained with polished floorboards and red oxide floors and fire places.

The Sampang Retreat

Nestled amidst nature (a 5-10-minute hike away from the main road), we offer a cozy retreat for up to four guests. The cottage, constructed from rustic wood, exudes a homely ambiance. Inside, you'll find a cozy living space/bedroom on the main floor and a quaint attic bedroom. The kitchen is also well-equipped catering to your needs. Outside, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and soothing sounds of nature. We strive to ensure your stay with us is comfortable/memorable!

This will be the most valuable and reasonable stay in Darjeeling as you would be getting an entire apartment with fully functional kitchen and furnished living rooms and bedrooms. With just 1.5 kms away from the main town (Chauk Bazaar) , we have a safe and peaceful neighborhood suitable for couples /families/solo travelers. The attractions like zoo, HMI museum, ropeway are walkable. Shared taxi is available to move around. The view from the private balcony is mesmerizing.

Serene Studio @ Birdsong Home, Mirik

The studio apartment is a solitary, private haven set far away from the road on a mountain slope. One has to walk down 4 flights of stairs to reach the house, so it is best suited for reasonably fit people. It is ideal for those who want luxury while in the lap of nature. The kitchen has a hot plate, basic utensils, and a small fridge. Laundry and catering services are available.
