This clean & cozy cabin is a perfect place to relax between enjoying the trails, rivers & local Amish shops. One queen size bed in the loft and a full-size pull out sofa sleeper. 4 seasons firepit out back. A propane grill is also available in the firepit area. Venture out to fly fish, kayak, canoe, etc. Located in the Kirtland Warbler country and near the Holy Waters of the AuSable River where bald eagles fly over the lodge daily. Stroll down the scenic boardwalk to the waters of Big Creek. Complete your day enjoying a glowing bonfire under a canopy of stars.

Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

Grandma's Getaway! Plenty of room for your trailer

Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of Northern Michigan at Grandma's Getaway! We have lovingly restored the interior of this home and it reminds me of being at Grandma's house. We have preserved many of the original elements and created a welcoming space around them. Enjoy Mio Dam pond, the AuSable River and walking trails during the day. In the evening relax in the cozy living room and enjoy a movie or play one of our many board games. Wake up to a beautiful view of the Mio Airport.

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Cozy Cass Cottage - 2 beds 1 bath

This cozy cottage in a quiet neighborhood is surrounded by everything you need. You can ride in and out to the ORV/snowmobile trails that tour through national forest, take a 5 minute drive to the Au Sable River and scenic Mio Pond, or spend the day with a unique assortment of shopping. If the weather has you down, cuddle up with a blanket, coffee/hot chocolate, and a movie or board game. Located close to many lakes and ponds, this makes the perfect spot for fishing as well!

Trail's End Guesthouse Cabin Rental

Nestled in the Pure Michigan woods, Trail's End Guesthouse is at the "end of the trail" overlooking a peaceful country garden. Perfect for a couples get-a-way or celebrate a special occasion. Rustic cabin style retreat with an open floor plan. Two levels include a winter themed spacious loft bedroom, main floor kitchenette, and a cozy sitting room.
