Originally the grooms accommodation for the historic Hartrigge House , it offers peace and quiet and an amazing homely atmosphere. The building is Grade C listed and accessed by a spiral staircase.Experience wildlife and dark skies from your garden too. The garde Jedburgh is within easy reach so you have the best of both worlds. This is a safe haven for walkers, golfers , fishermen, families and riders alike

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Herb Wood Cottage - a unique, perfect getaway

A unique mid-terraced country cottage set in beautiful farmland. This bright, spacious and well-equipped cottage is dog-friendly and includes space for bikes. Enjoy the large, fully fenced garden - a peaceful, private spot perfect for relaxing in tranquil surroundings. The cosy living room features a wood-burning stove, enhancing the warm cottage atmosphere. Christmas decorations go up the first week of December but can be arranged earlier on request. Luxury Rural Cabin with Wood Fired Hot Tub

We have 4 luxury ensuite cabins with wood fired hot tubs and the capacity to accomodate for couples, families and group bookings.

Cedar Cabin

A spacious timber cabin built 8 years ago. In a very quiet location amid the fields and woods of our farm, situated in the garden of my home and off a private road leading only to the farm. Cooking facilities are microwave, mini-cooker with two rings and oven, slow cooker, frig and sink. Beds are made up as king size unless singles are requested in advance. Pets are welcome. The Cabin has its own garden securely fenced. Garden furniture with sun loungers, table and chairs and charcoal BBQ.

Farm Bungalow

Situated on a working farm a mile from the town of Selkirk makes Highfield an ideal base to explore. Highfield commands an elevated position giving panoramic views of Selkirk and the surrounding hills. Situated on The Borders Abbey Way there is easy access to excellent walking and cycling routes. For the more adventurous we are a short drive to great mountain biking routes at Innerleithen and Peebles. Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

The Black Triangle Cabin

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Hidden gem. Cosy Shepherds Hut in idyllic farmland

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.

Nearest pub and cafe within 1 mile. Shops in Selkirk 5 Miles, Others in Hawick, Melrose, Galshiels, Jedburgh and Kelso Lots to see and do. Good for stars on clear nights.

Saint Cuthberts Barn is located within a 5 minute drive from Harestanes visitor centre and the historical town of Jedburgh.
