Modern Vermont Village Farmhouse - Guest House

Our home is located in the middle of the beautiful village of Bristol; our private guesthouse is only a few minutes walk to town with great restaurants, a few bars, shopping, and specialty stores. The village of Bristol is in the heart of the Green Mountains close to Middlebury and Burlington, major ski areas, Lake Champlain, minutes to Vermont's best mountains, rivers, swimming holes, fishing, hiking, and biking. We have lived here over 25 years and we will be happy to guide you any way we can.

Studio Retreat

About this Space Our cozy Studio Retreat is nestled in the woods on the 2nd floor of our detached garage, 5 min outside the charming village of Bristol. Bristol has several very good restaurants, shops, an art gallery and a library. You'll find hiking, biking trails and swimming. Middlebury is 15 min away and offers art galleries, breweries, a winery, shops, restaurants, hiking, skiing and more. Burlington is 45 min away, Sugarbush & Mad River Glen ski areas are just 30 min away. Lots to do!

Bluebird Studio- Light filled and airy

This studio apartment attached to the main house has a style all its own. Contemporary design with high ceilings, clerestory windows and a skylight. Spaces include a large Living Room/Bedroom, Kitchen/Dining area, bathroom with a step-in shower and an adjoining Dressing Room with vanity and sink. There is also an outdoor covered space to enjoy. Furniture includes a Queen size bed, 3 comfy chairs, small round table and 4 chairs. Location is a bit more than one mile from downtown Middlebury.

Hiker, writers’, gravel/mountain biker's paradise! Our quiet glamping retreat provides easy access to miles of wilderness. The hut has a cozy bed, kitchenette, and camping basics making for an easy and cozy getaway. Follow a trail to the Catamount Trail or drive a few minutes to the Long Trail. Enjoy miles of gravel biking from the door or go to Moosalamoo or Rochester for prime mountain biking trails. In the evening, sit on the deck under a blanket of stars and warm your toes by the fire.

An historic college town, Middlebury is replete with great restaurants, shops and cultural events to enjoy, all within walking distance. The comforts of this home include private parking, gardens, separate entrance, full kitchen and bath, and sleeps four. It is only a half hour from The Middlebury College Snow Bowl, and Lake Champlain.

The Barn at Middlebury

The Barn at Middlebury is within a 10 min. walk of the village center and 15 min to Middlebury College. The renovated barn is attached to the owners' residence. The separate guest quarters have a private entrance and include 3 newly renovated bedrooms, with two baths. The 1st floor bedroom has a Livingroom, kitchenette (Nespresso, microwave, Ref/Freezer, dishwasher, sink). Washer/Dryer. The 2 other 2nd Fl bedrooms share a large private bath. A terrace and screened porch is available.
