We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals).

The highlight of the 10-mile drive from our little house in San Miguel to historic Mesilla takes you through unique canopies of pecan trees, in the largest pecan-producing county in the nation.

Welcome to the Desert Dome! We are located in small village of Chaparral, NM. This is a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life while still having all the city amenities close by. You can find lots of hiking and biking trails in the area. We love furry friends, and would be happy to have your pets here too. There is a fenced in back area for their use. All pets must be leashed if not in the fenced area.
