The stone building, a 1920s gatekeeper’s cottage, is part of a Gilded Age estate, and is lovingly restored to meet your needs in comfort, including a full kitchen, bath and geothermal central heat and a/c.

The house is located in Meredith, two blocks from Winnipasaukee, shops, lakefront restaurants, and a short walk to Meredith beach. The rear deck overlooks the Wakewaun-Winnipasaukee stream/canal and a canoe awaits. Five acres of forested town parkland abut the property. The family kitchen has huge windows overlooking the garden, canoe and the canal. The living room has leather couches and recliners for relaxed family fun! Newly built guesthouse above owner's garage with insane sunrises & great view. Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. Parking pass to the private town beach that is less than 1/4 mile away.

This is one room with a queen bed and a 3/4 bathroom. Breakfast nook, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker. This room comes with it's own seperate entrance, private bathroom, and private patio (Patio is not open in the winter). Also we have off street parking for one or two cars. I am new to hosting, so for now please a two person max. Walking distance to downtown. Less than 100 yards and you are in the middle of downtown Meredith.
