We were born and raised in the area,and it has always been a dream of ours to open a bed and breakfast on the old homestead property. The Cottage is very cozy with a mixture of vintage and industrial decor. Visitors will have complete privacy within the house at all times, but with our home close by, we are always happy to help should you need anything! We are located in Downton Brandon in the Historic District. The Cottage is a guest house seated behind our home; it is a very quiet place, and it is great for working individuals, couples seeking a fun concert experience, or families participating in ball tournaments.

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat screen tv in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available.

By default we do not allow pets, however we are open to it with conditions so please request first.

This hidden private apartment behind my home is perfect for the traveling business person or the vacationers looking for a central location in the Fondren District. With off street parking, well away from any busy thoroughfare, you can be sure to enjoy peace and comfort. You will be inspired by the original decor and outdoor porch to go out and discover Jackson or rest and enjoy solitude. Also, there is a Purified Drinking Water Faucet installed in the apartment!

The exterior of the cabin at Dragonfly Ridge is rustic cedar siding with a large deck and a screened porch. The cabin is elevated with views of lake and grounds. The interior is wood with modern cabinets and furniture. Central AC and electric fireplace provide climate control or double French doors may be opened to screened porch. Dragonfly Ridge is located in rural Jasper County, MS and is near The town of Bay Springs.
