The apartment itself is a cosy 2 bedroom apartment with full internet and WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. The apartment is situated on the ground floor with access to the garden and BBQ or braai built in. There are plenty of amenities on the estate which include a swimming pool, miniature golf (putt putt) course, tennis courts, squash courts and a club house. In addition there is a full coin operated laundry on the premises. If you are looking to for adventure, a beach experience or a quiet relaxing holiday, you've come to the right place. Full access to all the amenities which include: Squash Courts, Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool, Putt Putt Course, Volley Ball Court, Club House and access to the beach. We are completely contactable throughout your stay and are only a phone call or email away. Walk or take a quick drive to the beach, malls, and golf courses. Hike, kite surf, surf, sample wines or simply eat out at numerous restaurants nearby. Discover the Cape West Coast, head to downtown Cape Town or into the stunning wine country. The is a bus stop towards Cape Town and a Melkbosstrand right outside the estate. In addition, taxis and Über are easily and readily available. Affordable car hire is also accessible. Cleaning and Linen Changes: Should your stay be longer then 5 days we will provide you with a linen and towel change should you require. Please be aware we are suffering a severe drought and would appreciate it if these linen changes are spread out as much is possible. Should you require a cleaning of the apartment, you can request this and a cleaner will be provided. This at an additional cost of R200 per clean. Linen change is at no cost.

Essence~Private Guest Suite on the beach

Essence is a private guest suite attached to the side of our main residence(with its own entrance and patio) situated in the quaint coastal village of Melkbosstrand. The private suite offers uninterrupted sea views with only a greenbelt between you and beach. Wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. *Please note ~there is no full kitchen or braai facilities . There is however basic crockery and cutlery, a microwave, kettle coffee/tea, toaster and small bar fridge.

It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac only 5 minutes walk (600m) from the beach in Van Riebeeckstrand near Melkbosstrand. You can hear the waves and smell the sea as you stand in the garden. The cottage is completely yours for the duration of your stay. It sits on a property that is shared with the main house, however you will have complete privacy.
