The Byre is a tranquil cottage ideally positioned to enjoy all Mid-Wales has to offer. Perfect for visitors wanting a peaceful break or an adventure. Dogs are welcome too! Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

Nannerth Ganol, artists retreat cottage

Nannerth Ganol is an old 16th Century farm. On our site we have The Cottage, main Longhouse with large garden and workspace for creatives. Our accommodation is busy with cyclists, walkers and music and media workers. Head into the Elan Valley and surrounding area directly from our location. It hosts people from the music industry who have come here to write/record . We are very isolated , so perfect if you want to get away from everything. You can relax/create or go explore. It's perfect for a secluded, romantic getaway at any time of year. It's also family friendly. You have access to the whole farm. You can hear the rushing mountain stream behind the cabin. Children and pets love to paddle in the streams on the farm. It's on it's own in a meadow - accessed by a stone track with mountain views in all directions

Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Follow local footpaths and cycle routes, and see nature at its best with Red Kites soaring in the skies above.

Pretty sunny cottage, Machynlleth

A lovely old renovated cottage with inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and mezzanine. It is well equipped for your stay as I have tried to make it a home from home for you with many books and houseplants. There will always be some welcome goodies and you can sleep in snuggly beds made up with 100% cotton or organic cotton sheets and feather and down duvets. The cottage is situated in the pretty wooded Dulas valley near the historic town of Machynlleth, close to Snowdonia and the sea.

Come and stay in one of our 2 lovely yurts or bring your friends and hire them both! in a secluded location surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months. Please see below in other details.

Our beautiful eco-friendly barn, set within Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), is a mix of traditional stone exterior and contemporary interior, within landscaped woodland gardens. We have 360° views of the mountains, and are near Dolgellau, Machynlleth, Coed-y-Brenin, Lake Vyrnwy and Cader Idris. Downstairs there is a lounge, kitchen and dining area, with a double bedroom and shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one double and a twin - and a bathroom.
