Sweet Creek Sauna Cabin

Wrangell Mountains are a magical place and so is Sweet Creek B&B. Turn right at mile 58.5 McCarthy Road, and follow the blue Sweet Creek B&B signs for 5 miles down a meandering country road. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Drive up to the house & bring your belongings in. Internet works in the house, not the cabin. All house amenities are available. Verizon & Starlink work here, possibly your cellphone hotspot. If you want to be closer to McCarthy, please book a different establishment.

Fireweed Mountain Lodge - Green Butte Cabin

McCarthy Guesthouse - Spruce Moose

We are located in the heart of Wrangell-St. Elias, the largest National Park in the United States! Enjoy the raw beauty of the Alaskan wilderness from the comfort of our modern apartments in downtown McCarthy. While completely off-the-grid, the Guesthouse boasts McCarthy's only in-suite bathrooms and showers as well as electricity, heat and Wifi! The Spruce Moose offers a private bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a pull-out sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen!

The Cub Cabin at the McCarthy Airstrip

Welcome to our private wilderness retreat only a 5 minute walk from the main McCarthy airstrip. This bed and breakfast boasts a new firm queen bed, WIFI, basic electrical system with mini fridge, and kitchenette with hot running water. A few steps from the front door is a private hot shower shack with change room, clean private outhouse, and a few modest courtesy bikes. No visitor vehicle access but local shuttles serve the airport. Two night minimum, we love dogs.

McCarthy Cabins - Meadow Cabin. Secluded and cozy!

A true gem, Meadow Cabin rests on 10+ wild acres in the heart of Wrangell–St. Elias National Park. Just 3.5 miles before the McCarthy/Kennicott footbridge, you can drive right to your door. Watch for moose, bears, and lynx from the big windows. This private log retreat has a kitchenette with running water, crackling wood stove, private shower house, well-kept outhouse, and sleeps up to four. Your unforgettable Alaska adventure starts here! Blackburn Cabins - Dora Keen Cabin

Cozy log cabin with 2 full beds, cooktop, and a propane heater—perfect for an Alaskan adventure! Enjoy hot outdoor showers, and authentic Alaskan outhouses. A short stroll from McCarthy, you’re close to food, music, and fun but tucked in the trees for peace and glacier views. The Copper at Currant Ridge - A Large Log Home!

Our Alaskan log house is perfect for a small family, couple or two couples traveling together. There is a fully set up kitchen for cooking including a refrigerator, electricity 24/7, gas grill on the large deck and a roomy private bathroom. The house has one bedroom, queen bed and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room area. Each guest house is screened by natural vegetation for privacy but retains beautiful view to the surrounding mountains.

tiny2 is the second cabin now available at tinycabins mccarthy! tiny2 is a bit smaller than tinycabin, at 11'x13' inside, with an additional 6'x11' screened-in porch....come with someone you love! but trust us, we lived in it for more than a decade, and it's more comfortable than you might imagine. we hope you'll make tiny2 your cozy homebase while you explore mccarthy/kennecott and the largest national park in the states, wrangell-st. elias!

The perfect place for family and friends to experience all that Wrangell-St. Elias National Park has to offer.

Kennicott-Mt. Blackburn B&B

This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.

McCarthy Bluffs

Breathtaking views from both downstairs and upstairs porches of the Wrangell Mountains. This a two bedroom cabin overlooking Kennicott River, McCarthy town and the Wrangell-St.Elias mountains. You are located 2.5 miles to the parking lot for the McCarthy footbridge where the shuttle can pick you up for your adventures. This home has an indoor shower and a charming outhouse!
