An off-grid solar-powered house, perched on the side of the Hawequa mountains overlooking the Breede River valley. It embodies a peaceful escape from the ordinary. NOTE: The road up the mountain is rough. Only 4x4s or high-clearance SUVs can reach the house. A shuttle is available from Calabash Pub, which you can arrange when booking.

Tierkloof Mountain Cottages: Dragon Rock

Situated on the slopes of the Swartruggens range, Dragon Rock boasts never-ending views across the Ceres Karoo to the Roggeveld mountains. It is perfect for those looking for privacy and tranquility. It has a large elevated private pool deck with a separate wood fired pool. The interior of Dragon Rock has an open plan living area with a closed fireplace for those chilly winter evenings.
