We have designed our 4 tiny cabins to enjoy the best of AK, from a walk/ski to the lake/trail system, bike on the paved path, or enjoy downtown. This is a small space. 2.5 hour drive to Denali Park

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. A beautiful 20 min. drive thru the Alaska range to the Park road entrance. Great cafe 10 min away that opens early and a Pizza pub is across from the cafe.

Red John’s cabin In 2017 Red Johns cabin was placed on Alaska’s 10 most endangered historic properties list by the AAHP. In 2018/2019 this adorable cabin was restored with help from Alaska’s Historic Preservation Fund. It is one of 13 buildings contributing to Talkeetna’s historic district on the NPS National Register of Historic Places. History and Charm!!!
