The Pod in Athenree is an ideal base for 1 or 2 people. One Queen bed. Central to Athenree. A 2-5 minute walk for a variety of activities; swimming, fishing, kayaking/boating, biking, tennis, hot pools + playgrounds. Kayaking in the Estuary is tidal. 5 minute drive to Waihi Beach / Bowentown, or you can walk across the estuary at low tide. 10 minute drive to Waihi & Katikati. The studio-styled Pod isn’t a huge space - but it is handy as a base for your holiday. Enjoy our brand new Queen bed!

Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome.
