The Castle - Greytown

Fully insulated with a heat pump that warms or cools the entire space. Ideal for couples retreat, or an extra single bed can be provided for a third guest.

Located near Masterton hospital and golf club, you can be at Castlepoint, Riversdale, or Greytown and Martinborough for beaches, vineyards, tramping or boutique shopping within 20-45 minutes. Ideal for a couple or solo traveller there is a private outside BBQ and patio space, wifi and car parking on site. The unit is a 4km paved walk to The Queen Elizabeth Park and CBD

Cottage nestled in estate

A fully self contained, 2 bedroom newly renovated cottage set amongst the grounds of an original 1900’s homestead with established gardens and equestrian facilities. For comfort, the cottage has air-conditioning & heating with master bedroom fitted with a ceiling fan. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and a washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen, Weber BBQ, Nespresso coffee machine and Starlink wifi making your stay easy and comfortable. Equine facilities are available $20/day/horse.

My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, public transport, shopping. You’ll love my place because of Its proximity to town, the studio is a short 2 min walk from the Queen St shopping precinct, great cafes and restaurants and only a casual 5 min stroll to QEll Park. The two storied Studio is tucked in behind the 1879 cottage with its own private deck, comfortably appointed for couples seeking a Wairarapa getaway or business travellers needing a central location.

Kererū Rest Take time amongst nature

Kererū Rest is in a semi rural position, enjoy relaxing on the deck or in the private outside beautiful bath. There is a bar fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. Breakfast selection provided eg: muesli, bread, butter, spreads, orange juice,milk, teas and fresh plunger coffee. This may work for travellers who don't plan on spending vacation time cooking although a gas barbeque is available (see photo) Greytown is five minutes away providing boutique shopping and a variety of dining.

The Alchemist Retreat, Studio, Carterton

5 minutes to Greytown, 15 mins to Tauherenikau and Masteron, 20 mins to Martinborough, The Alchemist Retreat is central to visit vineyards, The Martinborough Fair, Round the Vines, Greytown's July Midwinter Festival and so on. A stylish, french country vibes studio, with a limesand meandering path from the carpad, through the garden is an oasis. Separate to the host's house, the studio is an ideal getaway for peace and tranquillity. Located near Carterton town centre and railway station.

The Loft

The Loft is situated in Carterton, in the beautiful Wairarapa. The Loft is a newly refurbished, modern, spacious first floor apartment - separate from the main house, with all day sun. Located above the garage, an easy walk up two flights of stairs brings you to your own private space. The space includes a separate bedroom with queen bed and ensuite and a lounge/dining area with kitchenette. A small balcony off the lounge allows guests to sit and enjoy a break with a view to the Tararuas.

White shed, modern rustic

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

Twin Elms - Semi Rural Yet Close to Town

Welcome to Twin Elms. This apartment is situated on our property but separate from the main house. We are positioned in a lovely rural location about a 7 minute drive to the centre of Masterton. You are more likely to wake to the sound of sheep and birds than traffic. Our popular beaches, Castlepoint and Riversdale, are only an hour drive away. Martinborough, famous for it's wines, is approximately 30 minutes drive. Tea & Coffee provided along with free internet and Netflix.

The Brambles Cottage

Greytown has become a Mecca for boutique shopping and has some great restaurants & cafes. We are a 15min drive from Martinborough full of wineries & olive groves The Brambles is a lovingly restored 1800's building converted into a small cottage in a peaceful setting, It has great indoor outdoor flow to a private BBQ area, in the cottage kitchen there is a microwave, electric hotplates, a Nespresso machine with some coffee pods & fresh farm eggs

A little slice of country just 5 minutes from Masterton. A cosy cottage with rural views across to the Tararua ranges. Sit on the patio and enjoy the dark sky views. Perfect weekend escape to enjoy all that the Wairarapa has to offer. A short drive to the Star Safari observatory, Mount Holdsworth, Carterton, Greytown and half an hour to Martinborough's wineries. If you are travelling for work, we are only a minute off the main highway.

The Rural Studio

A private studio with stylish bathroom and kitchenette in a quiet rural setting. 5 minutes from SH2 and Carterton town and train station (to Wellington). Located in the heart of the Wairarapa, convenient for events and attractions, Greytown and Martinborough. Horse grazing and yards also available on request for $20/night. A great stop-off to recharge en route to Horse of the Year Show.
