A beautiful home on scenic Mason's Island. The house is located a few minutes drive to historic downtown Mystic. Spend your days exploring town, before coming home to your oasis at the end of a quiet cul de sac. The 3 bedroom 3 bath home has plenty of space for you, your family and friends, and has a great backyard with patio, grill, outdoor sectional and dining table, perfect for summer days and nights. Our home is the ideal home base after days at the beach, on the water, or exploring Mystic.

Two bedrooms sleep four (queen and two twin beds); new, well-equipped kitchen and one bath, open living area, deck and patio. Light and spacious. Working fireplace, central A/C; W/D; expanded cable TV and wifi; off street parking for two cars. Market/deli nearby; pleasing walk (less than a mile from center of Mystic)- restaurants, shops, marinas, etc. Near Amtrak station. Great retreat!

Capt. Burrows' home dates back to circa 1810 and is brimming with nautical character and New England charm. Just imagine, the captain bringing goods back from his ship to this very house, sneaking them in through the cellar door to sell to the shipyards that once sat in Mystic Seaport! Just a 10-min walk to downtown Mystic and with delightful water views to Tuft’s Cove, Captain Burrows Home is perfect for family and friend gatherings, sleeping 6-7 guests in 3 super comfortable bedrooms!

Another larger 2 bedroom cottage on property is for rent also for families with younger children. This rental is NOT suitable for toddlers or children under 12 due to the open balconies, railings and narrow spiral staircase to the loft.
