One of the highlights of staying here is the wildlife—you’ll often see zebras, ostriches, and springboks roaming freely. Inside, the home features a spacious open lounge and living area, The kitchen can be closed off, perfect if you’re wanting a private chef. Relax with the whole family or solo at this peaceful lake house at Lake Chivero. 30 minute drive from Harare and yet gives you the feeling of being far away. A great place to switch off from the city. Electricity not always available but there is a back up generator to fuel. No wifi available. Communal swimming pool. A lot of space to move around. KHH Stone Cottage at John Galt Village Main Gate

The lovely stone cottage has a stream nearby and amazing views. There is a barbaque/braai area. We use solar power only for lighting and sockets and gas for the hob and oven. This does not support microwave, or element based gadgets. Please book this if you're truly looking for a peaceful time to unwind and are a nature sort of person happy with antique type furnishings as in the photos. WiFi can be erratic due to mountain terrain.
