A rustic Mountain Lodge on hectares of private forest for only your party, no other guests or staff. For 1 to 9 people, at a per person rate, Alkantmooi offers peaceful family self-catering, self-service accommodation against the Mariepskop mountain Kampersrus, near the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport. Close to Blyde River Canyon Dam, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre, and Kampersrus shops. 55km to Orpen Gate Kruger National Park, 39km from Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Our expansive home in a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit is the perfect space to unwind and explore. Explore the Kruger National Park from multiple gate entries - the closest of which is just a short 30-minute drive away. Relax in the pool with a cocktail to the sounds of the bush, and slow down in style.

Bushveld Jewel - traditional beauty, all you need!

This little jewel offers a peaceful stay, off the main road, newly renovated and centrally located. The surroundings are tranquil with ample wildlife that visit frequently. The house in locaed in a private 680 ha nature reserve, with all animals moving freely. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is one of the most secure places to stay , and you are just 2.5 km away from the town which is cozy with everything that you will need for your getaway from groceries, banks, art shops and restaurants.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. Hidden in amongst the mango and citrus farms next to the Blyde River it is a true hidden gem, our two cabins offer accommodation for a stop over on your trip, a family holiday, a romantic getaway or a base to explore the area. The setting next to the river and surrounded by nature offers a wholesome, relaxing experience. It is any birder and bird photographers dream location with four different biomes within easy reach. Come try your hand at bass or tilapia fishing in the river

Fig Tree Cottage

Kick back and relax at our unique little bushveld spot. Sit around the fire at night listening to the hippo and nightjars calling with a crystal clear canopy of stars above. You’ll be woken by franklin and purple crested louries coming to feed at first light, followed by a cacophony of Lowveld birds including resident fish eagles. Walk down to the river, and enjoy sundowners and snacks on the rocks with spectacular sunset views to the Drakensburg mountains in the distance.

Greater Kruger Tulani Manor (incl gamedrives)

Tulani Manor is situated within the unspoilt Balule nature reserve which has open borders with Kruger National Park, allowing all animals to roam freely. The lodge is for private use and has back-up power. This self-catering lodge is perfect for family trips or a friends get together. To make the experience extra relaxing, the lodge offers full catering which can be quoted for. All rates include two guided game drives per day. Rates are dependent on the number of guests.
