Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Today yurts are built on a platform & consist of two thick layers of canvas with a layer of insulation in between, and most notably a domed skylight at their center. 5 mins to Alpine, 30 mins to Fort Davis, Marfa, and Marathon. Big Bend Park, Terlingua, & Lajitas are roughly 100 miles away.

The house is air conditioned and heated, has wifi and a smart TV. There is one bedroom downstairs with a comfy queen sized bed and one loft bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and fun views. Earth House is a private adobe home located within walking distance from all of the restaurants, boutiques, bars, and galleries in Marfa, TX. This is a lovingly curated space for passionate travelers, lovers of design, desert sun chasers, star gazers, and folks looking for the relaxation of a slow West Texas pace. This 1920s traditional structure has been refurbished, yet still maintains its earthen quality that is familiar to Marfa. Small/Medium dogs ok (max 40 lbs).

Juniper Moon House

The Juniper Moon House is a one bedroom, one bath adobe casita, nestled amidst Juniper trees and prickly pear cacti. Located on the southwest end of town, it offers quieter surroundings while still being in close proximity to Marfa favorites. Though small, this Judd-inspired, above-ground concrete bunker comes with all of the essentials. Located just a few blocks from the main thoroughfare in town, you'll be close to shops, restaurants, galleries, and more. The Lincoln's half-acre property features communal fire pits, lush desert gardens, a koi pond, a bocce court, and a cowboy soak tank. Right on the majestic courthouse square, you'll be just steps away from shops, restaurants, and galleries.

The Water Stop, Alta Marfa Winery, Bordo, Filthmart, Whitebox and Convenience West BBQ are a few places that are a very short walk away. Enjoy plenty of space for your family or friends, and don't worry too much about packing because you'll have a washer and dryer during your stay! This place has everything you need while in West Texas.
