Cool and contemporary, the villa sits imposingly on a hill near Marbella and the beach overlooking the sea. Four bedrooms and bright minimalist interiors let you enjoy the Costa del Sol in style. The villa’s traditional tiled roof extends over a sleek terrace with lounge and dining areas and views of the sea. One of the property’s pools stretches out between two wings of the house; the other is located indoors and has an inset hot tub. You can either work up a sweat in the villa’s gym or in the sauna and Turkish bath, and at the end of a day of sightseeing or sunbathing, retreat to the media room. White walls, two-story windows edged in dark metal and a flat gray fireplace surround give the great room at Villa Palo Alto a modern, open-air feel. Far from being austere, though, the space is enlivened by a tufted sofa, geometric vases, oversized pendants and woven plum-colored dining chairs.
