Pet friendly Farm stay in amazing countryside

Clappers Farm is a 17th century farmhouse located on a quiet country road on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome.

It is 2mins walking distance to the historical High street where you have all the shops & restaurants you will need. The cottage itself is situated in the Bury near the church offering a quieter experience. We have onsite parking for two small cars and a secured garage with a four cycle bike rack. Large self-contained detached studio

Cliddesden is a village on the edge of the North Hampshire Downs yet close to the town of Basingstoke. Guests staying here can enjoy lovely country walks whilst still very close to the amenities of Basingstoke. Our studio is very spacious with it`s own patio and garden furniture, weather permitting. Kitchenette has limited facilities but a popular country pub is within a 5 minute walk and offers great Thai and English food. Smart TV, Ethernet and WiFi available.

In walking distance is a village shop, pub, and a children’s play area. The cottage offers easy access to scenic walks, cycling routes, and nearby attractions such as Odiham and the Basingstoke canal and Chawton - Jane Austen's home. Nearby are the towns of Alton and Basingstoke.
