Built in 2023. Our A-Frame style home is located on thirty acres of maple, oak, pine & sassafras rising out of a blanket of ferns set in the Manistee National Forest. Over a mile of well maintained hiking trail winds through the woods. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan. Hosting adults only, no children or pets permitted inside the A, which is designed by a couple to create a perpetually quiet and relaxing place for other couples and ourselves.

Located near the North Country Trail, Pere Marquette River and Big Star Lake with an easy drive to Ludington, Pentwater and Manistee. A beautiful log home built in 2007 with all of the amenities you'd want nestled just below the flies only stretch of the Pere Marquette River. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A full kitchen and gorgeous view of the river. A great home base to enjoy all the activities available to you. It is also a wonderful place to relax in the hammock by the river. Stairs down to the river. You can fish right off the banks. 1 hour and 15 minutes from Grand Rapids, 40 minutes to Ludington.

Come stay at this no frills rustic cabin. You are in the middle of the woods on this property of over 13 acres, but are less than 15 minutes from downtown Baldwin. Close to Big Star Lake, beach access, and the public boat launch. Near multiple access points to the Pere Marquette River. In the winter warm up around the wood stove after snowmobiling. In the summer cool off in the AC after visiting the beach. Relax around the fire pit and enjoy the 6 burner gas grill.

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.
